Welcome to our Program Library!
The WJP helps to incubate programs by bringing together stakeholders—just like you—from different sectors and professions to work collaboratively to address rule of law issues in their communities. By working with diverse leaders—from the arts, to engineering, to public health—we are able to help create programs that advance the rule of law. These range from a program in Sierra Leone to ensure that illiterate women understand their rights by broadcasting them through radio, to an effort to protect indigenous workers’ rights in Mexico, to an initiative to help farmers in Haiti strengthen their land rights in order to improve their food security.
The WJP has supported these innovative programs through its Roderick B. Mathews Opportunity Fund. Since its launch in 2008, the Opportunity Fund has provided over $1,000,000 in seed grants to programs that address some of the world’s most challenging issues.
