World Justice Forum participants are invited to the office of the National Ombudsman in The Hague to learn about best practices and effective methods for dealing with citizen’s concerns. The National Ombudsman provides advice, conducts research, and provides referrals for disputes between citizens and government to ensure the interests of the citizen are always respected. On this visit the Children's Ombudsman and the Veteran’s Ombudsman will speak about their work and what they mean for these communities in the Netherlands. The National Ombudsman will deliver remarks about what access to justice means to their office and to citizens in practice.
