Tools to Create Better Open Data: Roadmap to fight corruption and the Commitment Creator

 

The Approach
Governments and civil society organizations fighting corruption through policy require guidance to support policy generation processes. Two tools were created: a Roadmap to fight corruption and a Commitment Creator. The Roadmap is an interactive online platform that educates and guides reformers on open government and anti-corruption. The Commitment Creator provides step-by-step guidance through the drafting of a formal commitment on open data for anti-corruption. To date the project team has supported ten governments internationally with their open data for anti-corruption commitments (OD4AC).
