Ramiro Suárez is a Research Fellow working on the WJP Mexico States Rule of Law Index and other rule of law projects. He joined the WJP as part of his Hubert. H. Humphrey Fellowship Program at the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs at Syracuse University in New York. Ramiro has a strong background in public finances, accountability, open government, and democratic development, and previously worked as a senior researcher at the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness in Mexico City. Ramiro holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the People’s Autonomous University of the State of Puebla in Mexico.
