Administrative and Communications Assistant

Josiah Byers is the Administrative and Communications Assistant for the World Justice Project, focusing on communications and support for the Seattle office. His previous work experiences include: the Publications Team of the National Bureau of Asian Research in Seattle, WA, where he handled editing for several academic journals; the East Asia Center for the University of Washington, where he handled a variety of tasks from outreach to grant writing; and teaching and coaching competive speech and debate at the university and high school levels.

Mr. Byers completed his M.A. in International Studies focused upon China with a concentration in contemporary Chinese politics and history from the University of Washington. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies, focused upon East Asia, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
