Gerard Vinluan is the WJP’s Asia Pacific Regional Director. Prior to joining the WJP as a consultant in 2016, Mr Vinluan spent over fourteen years managing international relations and corporate communications issues in the Singapore Government. Mr Vinluan led national delegations to negotiate intergovernmental agreements and issues of regional and international concerns, particularly in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). These issues often pertained to the rights of women, children and youth, persons with disabilities and vulnerable families. Mr Vinluan also served as Press Secretary during Singapore’s successful bidding for the world’s first Youth Olympic Games in 2010, in Singapore.
