Alexa Hopkins joined the World Justice Project in 2017. As a Program Assistant, she supports the Qualified Respondent Questionnaire and country-specific research projects. Before joining the WJP, Alexa worked as a high school mathematics teacher with Teach For America and interned at the Office of Regional Security and Arms Transfers within the U.S. Department of State, the American Enterprise Institute, the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, and the U.S. Senate.
Alexa holds an M.A. in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University where she concentrated in Non-State Actors and U.S. National Security Policy and Process. She also holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University with minors in Arabic and Muslim Societies.
