Development Intern

Valerie Turner joined the World Justice Project in April 2019 as the Special Assistant to the Executive Director. She graduated cum laude from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies with a minor in Spanish. Prior to working for WJP, she held positions at the Joint National Committee for Languages, Qatar Foundation International, and Human Rights First. She has international experience in education development in Southeast Asia, specifically in Thailand and Myanmar. She is currently a candidate for an MBA and an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University. She hopes to combine her Masters degrees to support high-quality, unbiased educational systems which reinforce the rule of law and support sustainable economic development.
