Nora Futtner joined the World Justice Project in May 2021 as a Rule of Law Index Intern. Nora has previously served as a Human Rights Intern at Geneva International Centre for Justice, a Legislative Intern with California Senator Scott Wiener, and a Programs and Operations Intern at Women's Earth Alliance.
She holds a B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies with Honors and a concentration in Current and Emerging Topics in Human Rights from the University of California, Berkeley. During her undergraduate degree, Nora spent a semester studying at the University of Geneva, where she was able to advance her understanding of international organizations. Her senior thesis utilized a socio-legal approach to discuss whether the reparations schemes for victims of the Rwandan Genocide abide by tenets of international law.
