Loralys McDaniel joined the World Justice Project in February 2017 as a Research Intern with the Rule of Law Index team. Prior to joining the WJP, she taught English to elementary school children in France, and co-founded a French bakery and cooking school in Chicago. There, she implemented a hiring program for juvenile ex-offenders having difficulty finding employment.
She holds a B.A. in French from DePaul University in Chicago. She is currently a master’s student of criminal justice policy at the School of Public Affairs at American University, in their Justice, Law and Criminology program.
