Karelle Matchum joined the World Justice Project in July 2021 as a Rule of Law Index Intern. Karelle has previously served as a Business Administration and Fundraising Intern at Vera Aqua Vera Vita, where she helped plan various fundraising activities such as the “Imagine a Day Without Water” virtual campaign to raise public awareness on the importance of water and the annual fundraiser event. She also served as an Advocacy Fellow at Malaria No More.
As a native of Cameroon, Karelle is bilingual in French and English. She holds a B.A. from the University of North Texas in International Studies with a concentration in Diplomacy and International Security. Before moving to the United States, she earned a M.A. in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law from the University of Dschang in Cameroon.
