Leading Organizations

It is the Kenyan Chapter of the Global Peace Foundation, that promotes an innovative, values-based approach to peace building. Their programs include the following areas: global peace education, global peace development, global peace youth, and global peace women.

Operating in Tanzania since 2007, it aims to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged communities and to preserve the environment through the expansion of sanitation services in the areas of decentralised sanitation, wastewater, and solid waste disposal. BORDA also has chapters in Lesotho, Mali, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia.

Works to defend the rights of people abused by security forces, provide them with judicial assistance and promote good governance in Jamaica.

It works for the defense of women's rights and the elimination of discriminatory practices, abuse, and violence against women and children. Their initiatives include advocacy, training, human rights education, and the provision of legal assistance, counseling, and protection of GBV victims through their Anti-violence program.

It is a network composed of more than 320 civil society organisations and individuals from 28 countries committed to advancing the rights of refugees in the Asia Pacific region through information sharing, mutual capacity building, and joint advocacy.
