Mr. Alfredo Romero is the President of Foro Penal Venezolano. He formerly was a legal adviser in the public credit sector in the Ministry of Finance in Venezuela. He also was an assistant in the Constitutional Chamber at the Supreme Court of Justice, also in Venezuela. He is a partner at Rosich Himiob Romero Law Firm. He is the director at Vive and Foro Penal Venezolano, pro bono NGOs that represent victims of political violence in Venezuela.
Mr. Romero is also president of Fuerza Integradora, a human rights organization of Venezuelan lawyers and a professor of Public Law at the Graduate School of Law, Catholic University, Caracas, and Universidad Central de Venezuela.
